Half term, honestly

Five days off school. And then what?

For most parents, half term lands somewhere between expensive and exhausting. Holiday clubs are mostly screens and crisps. Childminders are stretched. And whatever progress your child made in the half-term before? Quietly slips backwards.

Brain Bloom's holiday camp is the opposite of that. Mornings are real teaching. Afternoons are proper, run-around, knackered-by-bedtime sport. Your child comes home tired in a good way — and sharper than they were on Friday.

What's Included

Tuition in the morning.
Sports in the afternoon.

Child writing maths in an exercise book during morning tuition

Afternoon Sports & Activities

Multi-sports, teamwork and games. Run by experienced coaches in real school sports facilities — not a screen in sight.

Common Questions

What parents ask before booking.

Where exactly is the camp held?
Harris Academy Purley Primary School. A proper school venue with classrooms, sports facilities and outdoor space. Full address and directions are sent on booking.
How are the groups structured?
Classes are split by year group — Years 3, 4 and 5+ — so your child is taught with academic peers. Class sizes are kept to around 10 children, with 30 spaces total across the camp.
Is lunch provided?
Children bring a packed lunch and water bottle. The lunch hour runs from 12:00–1:00 and is supervised throughout.
Can I drop off earlier than 9am?
Yes. Early drop-off is available from 8am for working parents who need to get to work. Just let us know in advance.
Can I book a single day rather than the full week?
Yes. Single days are £55 pre-booked or £65 walk-in. Full week (5 days) is £275 and includes the Revision Pack free — that's the best value.
What's the Revision Pack?
A take-home pack of revision materials your child uses to consolidate what they've learned during the camp. £10/day or £50 for the week — or completely free if you book the full week.
What if my child has additional needs?
Please mention this on the consultation call. We'll have an honest conversation about whether the camp environment is the right fit, and what we can put in place if it is.
How do I pay?
Bookings and payment are handled directly through our booking page at book.brain-bloom.co.uk. Your place is held the moment payment goes through.
How does the EARLYBIRD discount work?
Use the code EARLYBIRD at checkout for 10% off any booking made before 18th May. After that, prices go up a week before camp starts. The discount works on full-week, daily and half-day rates.
